The International E-STEP Conference will be held on November 7, 2015 in the frame of 8th International Conference in Open and Distance Learning 2015 “Innovation and Research in Open & Distance Learning and in Information Communications Technology”. The conference will promote the project results and the outcomes of the project and define exploitation and sustainability policies. It will give the chance to design possible future exploitation scenarios for the activities and products developed during the E-STEP life cycle. For more information click here
E-STEP project was presented as ODS conference which was held on Athens 18-21 September of 2015. Ms Eleni Chelioti from Ellinogermaniki Agogi presented the paper “Towards Successful Partnerships between Schools and Parents: Needs Analysis Findings from the E-STEP Project”. Several teachers from all Europe attended the conference and the idea of E-STEP project and its results were promoted to a large audience. Below you can see some photos from the conference:
On the 17th of June 2015 the last E-STEP workshop for Bulgaria took place. It was held in the Center for preparation of students for school Olympiads in Sofia and was attended by 31 representatives of 23 different schools in Sofia. The majority of the participants were directors and deputy directors and there were also school psychologists, teachers in ICT as well as pedagogical advisors. The attendees represented primary and secondary schools, as well as language and vocational schools. On the 27th of May a special workshop earmarking Phase B of the international project E-STEP was held in Sofia. The event took place in the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics situated in the heart of the Bulgarian Academy of Science Campus. The workshop was part of the special Information day organized by the Greek educational organization Elinogermaniki Agogi and few academic partners from Bulgarian side, including National Research Network Association (NRN A), which is Bulgarian E-STEP Coordinator.
