We cordially invite you to the International E-STEP Conference hosted by 8th International Conference in Open and Distance Learning 2015 “Innovation and Research in Open & Distance Learning and in Information Communications Technology” November 7, 2015.

ICODL2015_E-STEP_logo CTI “Diophantus” and Ellinogermaniki Agogi will organize the E-STEP closing conference supported by the E-STEP project, on Saturday 7th November 2015. The conference will promote the project results and the outcomes of the project and define exploitation and sustainability policies. It will give the chance to design possible future exploitation scenarios for the activities and products developed during the E-STEP life cycle. In addition, the Conference will show case the results of the E-STEP project, which has been funded by the Comenius/Lifelong Learning Programme.

Conference Themes

E-STEP Conference focuses on how to support, engage and motivate parents to utilize social networking systems in order to collaborate with teachers effectively according the E-STEP Training Framework. The presentation of real case studies will confirm the E-STEP results.

Topics of interest include the vibrant areas of prediction and assessment research include such as:

  • Parental Engagement
  • Use of social networking tools for better cooperation
  • Teachers’ training


The E-STEP conference is addressed to teachers, Heads of school, parents, policy makers, and any other stakeholders interested in parental engagement in school education, with a particular focus on the use of social media
